All participants in MAP 2022 must be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 (as defined by the CDC) at least 1-month prior to the beginning of MAP 2022.  Submission of proof of vaccination will be required.

All participants are subject to the travel rules and policies of the UK Government which includes the pre-purchase of a 2 day COVID test to be taken in England.  All rules and policies are stated on the following website:

All participants must provide a negative PCR-test taken within 72 hours of departure from their home country for England in order to be admitted to MAP housing.

Masks will be required to be worn over both the nose and mouth for all indoor activities at MAP 2022.

MAP 2022 COVID Payment/Refund Policy:

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, MAP will be making special accommodations beyond our usual refund policies.  If international travel to the UK is banned due to COVID-19 travel restrictions implemented by the UK Government or the CDC during the period greater than 30 days prior to MAP’s start date, MAP will refund all payments made by students to MAP minus actual expenses paid on behalf of MAP students or program logistics prior and up to the date of the travel ban announcement.  Such expenses include but are not limited to: housing deposits/payments, faculty/guest teacher travel costs/deposits, contractual agreements, administrative costs, etc.

No refunds will be offered based on personal decisions made by enrolled MAP students once they have committed to attend MAP and begun the tuition payment process.  These include decisions not to attend MAP due to COVID-19 concerns, or lack of adherence to stated MAP COVID safety regulations which will preclude the student’s participation in all MAP activities.
